About Me

I was born and raised in a small city town north of Perth, on the coast of Western Australia. I still live there today along with my partner, two children, and two dogs . . . oh, and a goldfish that likes to chase your finger.

I’ve worked at a service station, a liquor store, and cutting fabrics at Spotlight. I’ve dabbled in art most of my life and a little graphic design here and there. Currently, I’m a full-time mum (when the kids are not in school), a house wife, and all the other things that can come with being a mum.

I’ve loved writing stories from the time I was in primary school, or simply writing in my journal. Writing for me is a nice escape from reality to my own worlds . . . and if I don’t like it, I can change it.
It wasn’t a hard choice when it came to knowing what kind of books I would write. The paranormal and all things supernaturally inclined have always fascinated me, right from the time I was seven-years-old and I used to see shadowy figures sitting on my toy box at night, watching me fall asleep. Although, some might say I just had a vivid imagination . . . maybe they’re right. And no, I’m not saying that I can see dead people.

In the spare time that I do have when I’m not writing, I’m either hanging out with the kids and having quality family time, reading, listening to music, on Facebook and Twitter, or watching hours of DVDs like Supernatural (my all time favourite TV series). On the odd occasion I will pick up a pencil and draw, but that’s a rarity now.
